Welcome!

Hi there and welcome to my page! Here you can find out all about the NQ Level 6 Media MakeUp course at James Watt College, Greenock. I'm hoping you'll enjoy getting to know me and my 'style', tracking my progress as the year goes on!

I have created this blog as part of my 'Essential Skills' class, which is quite probably the hardest class to describe - it seems to cover absolutely everything we would ever need to know in the world - ever! One of the main tasks is to document our work throughout the course whilst considering a more holistic approach to education (yo! bloggers!). We will be developing our IT and communication skills through a whole host of cross-curricular activities - including community involvement and volunteering - hello there Curriculum for Excellence - very pleased to meet you! We've even had a visit from the campus Police Officer to give us advice on creating a safe, online presence, as well as giving info about general safety, antisocial behaviour and crime.

Earlier this year, I was involved in the filming of a music video for the brand new artist, Jack of Clubs on his debut single 'Summer Nites' featuring Annie Angel. I worked on the second day of the shoot as the sole MUA, ensuring continuity for Jack, Annie and Gran's make up looks. It was a fantastic experience; Director Alasdair Macrae runs a pretty tight ship but with a relaxed and fun attitude that keeps everyone motivated throughout!
